The Discoverers

In the footsteps of Récré Discoverer, children have fun developing language and sounds through songs and dances. Phonetic is in the spotlight as it is a major starting point for maintaining French in an English-speaking environment.

A morning with the Discoverers

A morning with the Discoverers follows an established and adapted pattern.

As they are welcome, the children follow a well organised ritual with introductions, songs and dances.

Phonetic sessions, which is the main subject of this group, are prominent: phonems are sung weeks after weeks until they are assimilated.

During the morning break, the Discoverers spend their energy outside.

Relaxing activities such as yoga or quiet readings start the session, which allow the Discoverers to rest before they start various artistic activities mixed with discussions about the current theme.

Before they leave the class and meet their parents, the children help tidying the classroom while they are still having fun.
